Hardware Park Biodesign Fellowship

Hardware Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects early-stage medical device companies with design, engineering, funding, and manufacturing resources to turn great ideas into world-changing MedTech devices. Apply to be a member of their inaugural, 4-person Biodesign Fellowship designed to equip early-career engineers and designers to drive innovation no matter what industry sector they serve. This is a 12 month fellowship in the Birmingham, AL area.

Register Now for the 2026 ALDAG Competition which offer over $100,000 in cash and other awards, with one $50,000 grand prize. The deadline to register and upload your initial slide deck is March 24th. Your final presentation is due April 3rd, and the next rounds are April 8 & 10. Advice and your pitch is available from the competition, or engineering faculty, undergraduate or graduate students can obtain help with their pitch by contacting Pete Ludovice.

David Holt Esq. will help educate our University of Alabama Student Entrepreneurship Community on intellectual property and contractual issues from 4:30-5:30pm on Thursday February 26th, in Honors Hall Room 176. David received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama.
